Position Summary

The Identity and Access Management Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding user identities within our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that access to critical applications, data, and systems is securely managed, preventing unauthorized access while overseeing the identities and access privileges of users both internally and externally. The specialist will develop and implement processes for creating, modifying, disabling, and deleting user accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage user identities and access rights to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Develop processes for account management including creation, modification, and deletion.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance identity protection measures.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and PCI DSS.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; higher education preferred.
  • Three to four years of relevant experience in identity and access management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to complete Epic Security certification within six months of hire.
  • Ability to complete CIAM certification within nine months of hire.
  • Familiarity with MS Active Directory, regulatory compliance, and scripting languages such as SQL or PowerShell.

  • Hybrid work environment.
  • On-call responsibilities may be required.
