Oregon Health & Science University is a national leader in pediatric care, and we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Ambulatory Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Infusion Center teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree or higher and be certified as a Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner. The successful applicant will provide collaborative and multidisciplinary care with a team of attending physicians, resident and fellow trainees, nurses, and medical assistants.

The Doernbecher Infusion Center provides nearly 5,000 infusion and transfusion services per year, serving patients from various pediatric sub-specialties. The APP will proactively manage the daily operations of the Infusion Center, including optimizing patient safety, patient volumes, space utilization, clinical workflows, and improving the family/patient care experience.

Key responsibilities include conducting pre-infusion office visits, overseeing the transfusion of blood products and the infusion of chemotherapy, iron, IV IgG, and other pharmaceutical agents. The APP will also manage acute clinical issues that may arise in the Infusion Center and ensure that all orders are complete and signed.

As a valued member of our team, the APP will have opportunities to become involved in quality improvement work, education, research, and childhood advocacy. We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
