8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Duration:
13 weeks (Potential for extension) - 40 hours guaranteed per week
Compensation:
To be discussed during the interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and guiding patients to their designated examination areas.
- Coordinating patient appointments and conducting follow-up reminder calls.
- Communicating with patients regarding any delays and expected wait times.
- Collecting and verifying patient information, including addresses, contact numbers, insurance details, and medical histories.
- Updating and confirming patient records during each visit.
- Assisting patients in completing necessary documentation, such as medical history forms and consent agreements.
- Processing payments for medical services through cash and credit transactions.
- Reviewing patient accounts, identifying overdue balances, and managing collections.
- Addressing patient inquiries or complaints and directing them to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Following up with patients to ensure resolution of their concerns.
- Performing clerical tasks, such as organizing and filing documents, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a patient service role.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare practices.
