Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Test Supervisor to lead our team of environmental technicians and engineers in testing hardware products through simulated harsh environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, maintaining lab operational readiness, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of test engineers, specialists, and technicians to test various hardware to military, industrial, and commercial test standards.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate detailed schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage the environmental test lab, maintaining operational readiness to support production environmental stress screening and environmental testing.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and processes to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Support the test and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems and sub-assemblies, working directly with hardware and design engineering personnel as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical degree.
  • 5+ years of working experience in testing electronics, electro-mechanical assemblies, or integrated systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a lab and/or production facilities, equipment, and operations.
  • Experience in thermal, thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, HALT/HASS, or EMC testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing rugged embedded computers or avionics from a mechanical perspective, including understanding of circuit board interconnects.
  • Experience with designing and building electrical harnesses and connectors.
  • Experience with electronics thermal and/or vibration analysis and related software such as Ansys, Flotherm, SolidWorks, etc.
