Job Summary

The Maintenance Parts Coordinator is a critical role within Toray CMA, responsible for managing and controlling the maintenance parts inventory. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive, record, and issue parts and supplies to and from the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stock management.
  • Warehouse Operations: Plan and implement the layout of the warehouse and other storeroom areas, designating and adjusting storage areas according to usage.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain all warehouse inventory and records, including the computerized inventory database, and verify with physical inventory counts as required.
  • Supply Chain Management: Replenish warehouse stock and issue restocking purchase requisitions, ensuring timely delivery of parts and supplies.
  • Asset Management: Coordinate and track the pickup and delivery of assets, and approve invoices as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Evaluate reports for parts usage to identify repetitive repairs and part failures, and provide insights to improve inventory management and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: At least one year of similar or related experience required, or a two-year college degree in a relevant field.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to efficiently manage time and planning skills, and good computer skills (inventory software and barcoding systems a plus).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level necessary to successfully perform assigned responsibilities, and ability to utilize/operate a computer, peripheral equipment, and appropriate software.
