Job Summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including laboratory data and patient history
  • Prepare for case management, assembling essential equipment and ensuring its proper functioning
  • Develop anesthetic management plans based on patient assessment and anticipated procedures
  • Manage anesthesia delivery, recognizing patient difficulties and communicating effectively with the attending anesthesiologist
  • Provide competent post-anesthetic management, including verifying patient identity and maintaining airway patency
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a CRNA-Certified RN Anesthetist license, a Master's degree from a CRNA program, and current NYS RN and CRNA certifications.
