Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a member of our Anesthesiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room and OB area
  • Supervise and mentor CRNA staff, residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists in the clinical area
  • Participate in our department's Quality Assurance program to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Collaborate with colleagues on various committees and projects to improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to trainees and junior staff members
  • Engage in ongoing continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in anesthesiology
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology
  • Active medical license in the State of New York
  • Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology
