We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer local, inhalation, intravenous, and other anesthetics as prescribed during surgery, deliveries, or other medical procedures.
- Perform resuscitative procedures throughout the hospital, including the recovery room, and be available at all times while on duty.
- Assess and interpret patient history, physical, and laboratory data to develop a plan of care.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in working condition to ensure safe anesthesia administration.
- Current certification as a CRNA.
- ACLS, PALS certification, and NYS Infection Control Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
