  • Prep and paint collision-damaged vehicles according to specifications and company standards with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Mix and match correct paint per job, utilizing paint mixing computers and equipment correctly.
  • Determine the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Check for runs, sags, orange peel, over spray, or dry spots to guarantee a premium finish.
  • Communicate progress and any potential delays to the Shop Manager.
  • Properly use and maintain all required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform paint booth maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to the usage and disposal of paints, thinners, and other hazardous materials.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience painting vehicles in a production environment or equivalent training.
  • 1 year experience in color matching or equivalent training.
  • High production capabilities.
  • Above-average quality focus.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions on repair orders.
