Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter Specialist to join our team at SP+ Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying paint to various surfaces, including floors, walls, and doors.

Responsibilities

  • Apply paint to surfaces using a variety of techniques and materials.
  • Mix and apply paint, varnish, shellac, and other finishes to surfaces.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, priming, and sealing.
  • Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to protect them from paint and other materials.
  • Fills cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, or other fillers.
  • Use a spray gun for large painting jobs.
  • Climb ladders to reach high ceilings and walls.
  • Clean up equipment and work area upon completion of job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of commercial painting experience required.
  • Striping experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to complete jobs timely and be detail-oriented.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.

Additional Information

Must be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
