Position Overview:
Our organization is in search of a motivated and forward-thinking Electrical Engineer to enhance our manufacturing division.
This position demands a robust understanding of electrical engineering concepts, coupled with a commitment to innovation and effective problem-solving.
The selected individual will take charge of the development, testing, and enhancement of electrical systems utilized in our manufacturing operations. This is a permanent position that presents a stimulating yet fulfilling experience in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Develop and execute innovative electrical designs for both new and existing products.
- Utilize PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC to optimize automation designs and circuitry within manufacturing processes.
- Conduct detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
- Inspect installations and monitor operations to ensure adherence to design and equipment specifications, as well as safety standards.
- Employ computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks.
- Support the manufacturing department with product development and testing initiatives.
- Ensure quality assurance for ongoing projects.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role.
- Proficiency in PLCs including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC.
- Skilled in the use of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software applications.
- Ability to compose reports and specifications, as well as document procedures and design work.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and an understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
- Familiarity with applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
- Proficient in design and calculation software.
