Job Summary

The Reserves Network is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a pollution-free and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct maintenance functions on equipment, machinery, tools, and facilities.
  • Comply with all safety procedures as required by law and ensure departmental conformance to safe working procedures.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of and performs repairs and rebuilds mechanical, electrical, and production equipment.
  • Completes assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring metal fabrication, welding, electrical, and mechanical skills.
  • Repairs hydraulic systems, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, and other equipment.
  • Ability to maintain machinery and equipment, including HVAC, fire alarm, security, and CCTV systems.
  • Proven ability to support personnel in performing production equipment repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to maintain and repair all building and ground systems.
  • Inspects and adjusts equipment and systems, perform specific preventative maintenance service and general maintenance functions.
  • Processes equipment incident reports.
  • Thoroughly and accurately completes reactive and preventive maintenance paperwork.
  • Operates and maintains mechanical and electrical systems and equipment that supply the building with heat, power, ventilation, air conditioning, and/or refrigeration.
  • Makes periodic inspection of all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems as established by the facility operational procedures.
  • Performs preventative and reductive maintenance on equipment typical to production equipment and assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Troubleshoots equipment problems.
  • Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences on standard and approval forms.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • Skilled Trades education from a Joint vocational School or Higher.
  • Minimum of three to five years skilled maintenance experience required.
