Customer Service Representative

The part-time Receptionist at Pohanka Chevrolet Chantilly is a key role within our dealership, serving as the first point of contact for all customers.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with a diverse group of customers and team members on a daily basis.
As an individual contributor, the Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining a professional and organized front desk area while providing exceptional customer service to all visitors.
Available hours for this position are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4pm-9pm as well as Saturday 9am-7pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm on an alternating basis.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet all customers and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Respond to customer inquiries and schedule service appointments
- Check in and direct customers to the appropriate service advisor or salesperson
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Process customer payments and update records accordingly
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, such as filing and data entry
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience
- Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer concerns or complaints
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus
