Position Highlights:
- This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits.
- Standard working hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with flexibility required for evening and overnight shifts as necessary.
- Participates in a weekend rotation every fourth week.
- Engages in a rotating holiday schedule.
- On-call duties for winter snow removal are expected.
- General Cleaning:
- Adhere to established protocols for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces including walls, floors, ceilings, and fixtures.
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Minor Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct repairs and replacements on minor equipment, including office furniture and fixtures.
- Assist in assembling and relocating office equipment as required.
- Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with local service providers.
- Ensure all hospital vehicles are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Grounds Maintenance:
- Provide seasonal maintenance and repairs for outdoor equipment.
- Assist with painting and office relocations as needed.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage supply inventory and delivery.
- Maintain departmental records, including logs and inspection reports.
- Safety Protocols:
- Ensure a safe working environment through proper equipment usage and site maintenance.
- Keep tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
- Recognize potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Minimum age of 18 with relevant education or experience to fulfill job requirements.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in building maintenance, grounds upkeep, or mechanical work.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License required upon hire; candidates must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment.
- Heavy Work: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
