Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, particularly in IFRS, and will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance leadership to prepare and present financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable department to ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Manage General Ledger account balances and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries to adjust account balances at the end of each period.
  • Support the generation of key performance indicators and various financial metrics.
  • Participate in the month-end closing process, updating schedules and coordinating with the accounting team.
  • Engage with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
  • Maintain Fixed Asset tracking and manage depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with income tax regulations and assist in year-end audit processes.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior accountants and manage their time-off requests.
  • Contribute to departmental organization and training initiatives.
  • Be prepared for occasional domestic and international travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; a Master's in Accounting or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate financial reporting or public accounting.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in IFRS and/or US GAAP is necessary.
  • Experience in financial data variance analysis and account reconciliations.
  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of corporate income tax return preparation is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA S/4 and Tipalti is a plus.
Additional Skills:
  • Active CPA license is preferred.
  • Ability to research complex accounting issues and provide management with insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel.
