Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Political Science Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Political Science. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in American politics, including but not limited to Electoral Politics in the U.S, Power in America, Public Policy, American Political Development, and our Senior Seminar in American Politics.
Responsibilities:- Teach courses in American politics, including but not limited to Electoral Politics in the U.S, Power in America, Public Policy, American Political Development, and our Senior Seminar in American Politics.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
- Demonstrate an active research agenda.
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and community.
- Primary teaching and/or scholarly emphasis in American Politics.
- Potential as a researcher.
- Potential as a teacher of undergraduate students.
- PhD in Political Science or related field by August 15th, 2026.
- Potential to teach introductory methodology courses.
- Potential to teach Comparative Politics classes as required.
- Potential to teach classes on state and local politics.
