Job Description: The position of Bilingual Case Manager requires a detail-oriented individual who can facilitate a high-volume mental health intake process, manage referrals, and verify Medicaid eligibility. This fast-paced role ensures that clients are eligible for services with our agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Mental Health Intake: Facilitate the intake process by managing referrals, enforcing no-show policies, and scheduling appointments.
  • Eligibility Verification: Verify Medicaid eligibility to ensure clients have proper medical coverage.
  • Client Interaction: Conduct daily interactions with new clients, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Caseload Management: Play a crucial role in client and therapist matching, including reassignment of caseloads during transitions or departures.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication.
  • Education and Experience: An associate degree in a related field is preferred, with at least one year of experience working in a social service or mental health setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $42,120 - $46,320, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, company-paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 403B retirement plan with match.
