About the Job

Fresenius Medical Care North America is a leading provider of renal care services. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Hemodialysis Technician to join our team in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Education:
    • Assist healthcare members in providing patient-specific education on disease process, access, and treatment options.
    • Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment goals, progress, and expectations.
  • Treatment Delivery:
    • Welcome patients, evaluate vascular access, and obtain vital signs prior to treatment.
    • Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders, monitor patients' response, and adjust treatment as needed.
  • Maintenance and Technical:
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including disinfecting equipment and surroundings.
    • Prepare and organize supplies and equipment for efficient use.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Current state licensure (if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hemodialysis or related field
Salary Information:

$24-$36 per hour (dependent on location and qualifications)
