About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Regulatory Affairs team at Cisco. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for advising on global telecommunications regulations and leading a team of legal professionals to provide guidance and support on market access matters.

The Company

Cisco is a leading technology company that specializes in networking and telecommunications equipment and services. Our Regulatory Affairs team is part of the Legal department and is responsible for ensuring that we comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the markets where we operate.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Corporate Counsel, your main responsibilities will be:

  • To advise on global telecommunications regulations and ensure that we comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • To lead a team of legal professionals to provide guidance and support on market access matters.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, deliver, and guide effective, efficient regulatory compliance strategies and programs.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and licensed in good standing.
  • 10+ years of relevant in-house legal and/or law firm experience with a focus on telecommunications regulations and familiarity with lawful intercept laws.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating, empowering, supporting and engaging legal professionals to achieve optimal business results, develop their skills and careers, and enjoy their work.
  • Strong experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, deliver, and guide effective, efficient regulatory compliance strategies and programs.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills to both business and legal audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a large technology company or similar industry.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry groups.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility requirements is a plus.

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this position is around $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
