Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Test Plans: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality of software applications.
  • Collaborate with Development Team: Collaborate with the development team to integrate testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Design and Develop Test Cases: Design and develop test cases to exercise the User Interface (UI) of applications.
  • Work with Clients and Developers: Work with clients and developers to design and develop tests for each part of the application.
  • Develop Test Data: Develop test data for a variety of personas and use cases to facilitate automated testing and customer demos.
  • Perform Manual Testing: Perform manual testing processes, efficiently document results, and communicate routinely with the development team.
  • Troubleshoot Product Bugs: Troubleshoot product bugs and provide telemetry and debug information to the development team for remediation.
  • Document Issues: Document issues for remediation within GitLab and track progress over time.
  • Learn and Adapt: Ability to learn Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools for sophisticated automation of repetitive tasks, including manual testing processes and other business-related functions within PSI.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Ability to develop sophisticated test cases, scenarios, and data sets. Experience with integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines is preferred. Ability to develop code in HTML and modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience with Git-based configuration control systems for source code management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively document and communicate test results. Lifelong learner, independent thinker, and competitive personality that enjoys taking on new automated testing challenges.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience (or a minimum of 7 years' experience if no bachelor's degree). Must be a US Citizen, able to pass a background check, and may be subject to random workplace drug testing. DOE or DOD experience is preferred, Q level clearance is preferred.
