Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with departmental and organizational goals, leading initiatives to improve operational efficiency, patient care, and staff productivity.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, assess the needs of various teams, and provide support staff for special projects and routine duties as required.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including forecasting and financial planning, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Staff Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, support recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Ensure high-quality patient care by coordinating with clinical teams and implementing patient-centered initiatives, address and resolve employee and patient concerns promptly.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify and lead process improvement projects to enhance departmental performance, monitor key performance indicators, and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication within the department and with other hospital units, represent the department by providing detailed performance reports to the leadership team.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of overall healthcare experience.
  • At least 5 years of strong operations management experience in leading multi-specialty or specialty-specific practices with more than 60 physicians.
  • Training in LEAN philosophy with Green Belt certification or eligibility.
  • Over 10 years of solid operations management experience.
  • FACHE or MGMA certification.
