About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our veterinary hospital, leading a team of veterinary technicians, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the work of veterinary technicians and assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement protocols and procedures to improve patient care and hospital operations.
  • Provide mentorship and training to veterinary technicians and assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with hospital management and supervisory teams to achieve hospital goals and objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to veterinary technicians and assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT) with 5+ years of clinical experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in team leadership and supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, hospital management, and other stakeholders.
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
