On Premise Sales Representative

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Beer Sales Representative to join our team in Washington, DC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful sale and growth of our beer portfolio in the On Premise market.
Key Responsibilities
- Pursue new draft opportunities for distribution in the On Premise market
- Collaborate with local distributor managers and partners to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Provide training to accounts on brand and product knowledge, including ingredients, brewing process, history, quality, and current trends
- Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, checking date codes, and processing restocks and reorders as necessary
- Sell-in and build brand displays according to off-premise standards
- Execute point-of-sale programs to standard
- Assist in executing impactful promotions and educational presentations at accounts
- Utilize online databases and systems to track territory sales progress
- Maintain open communication with field and headquarters
- Manage budget and maintain records for monthly reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with all alcoholic beverage regulations
Requirements
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- 2-5 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably in beer, wine, or spirits
- Previous retail or On Premise work experience is a plus
- Experience as a bartender, waitress, bar manager, distributor sales representative, etc. is a plus
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must live in assigned territory with access to reliable transportation – large vehicle preferred
- Must have valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background check
- Must be willing to travel within assigned sales region
- Must be able to lift and move cases of product frequently
- Must be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed
- Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards
Compensation and Benefits
The base compensation range for this job classification is between $45,000.00-$70,000.00 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location. This job classification is bonus eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
