Job Title: Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist

As a Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist with the U.S. Army Recruiting - Albany Battalion, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include supervising and maintaining all Army supplies and equipment, receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading and unloading, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain processes to minimize delays and errors
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve supply chain goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with Army regulations and procedures
Training and Qualifications:

Job training for a Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions. Part of this time is spent in the classroom, and part takes place in the field, including practice in handling and storing stock.

Some of the skills you will learn are:

  • Procedures for shipping, receiving, storing and issuing stock
  • Stock control and accounting procedures
  • Procedures for handling medical and food supplies
  • Movement, storage and maintenance of ammunition

Requirements:
  • Be under 35 years old
