Position Overview

The Director of Supply Chain Management is tasked with the comprehensive oversight of all supply chain functions related to the acquisition of goods and services. This includes, but is not limited to, managing inventory, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and capital procurement. A critical aspect of this role involves ensuring the organization's active engagement with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and regional purchasing coalitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all supply chain activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate vendor credentialing processes and maintain strong vendor partnerships.
  • Oversee contract management and new product introductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and manage departmental objectives related to cost efficiency and supplier diversity.

Minimum Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree is highly preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years in supply chain or procurement within the healthcare sector or a comparable industry, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • At least 5 years of management experience is required.
  • Proven experience in financial management within supply chain operations, including budget development and financial analysis.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certifications such as APICS or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.

Salary Range: $82,000 - $129,000
