Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain Management is tasked with leading all activities related to the supply chain, which encompasses the acquisition of materials and equipment. This role includes, but is not limited to, managing inventory and equipment, fostering vendor relationships, overseeing contract negotiations, and facilitating the introduction of new products and capital acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing engagement with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and regional purchasing coalitions.
- Set and achieve departmental goals related to cost efficiency, supplier diversity, and revenue growth.
- Guarantee compliance with organizational, state, federal, and local regulations, while maintaining accurate cost management and expense oversight.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree is highly preferred.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years in supply chain or procurement within the healthcare sector or a comparable industry, showcasing progressive responsibility in vendor contract management.
- At least 5 years of management experience is essential.
- Proficiency in financial aspects of supply chain management, including financial analysis and budget administration.
Preferred Certifications
- Certifications such as APICS or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.

- Highly developed interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, physicians, and vendors.

- Solid understanding of quality management and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications.
Salary Range: $82,000 - $129,000
