Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transactional Document Specialist (Municipal Bonds) to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting attorneys with administrative and legal tasks.
Main Tasks
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain and organize legal files, both physical and electronic, ensuring timely access to case materials.
- Assist in managing multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform general clerical duties, including typing, filing, and document preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (experience with WordPerfect is a bonus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
- A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
