Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, breast, and pediatric sonography
  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, such as biopsies, injections, and aspirations
  • Comply with departmental protocols and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound
  • RDMS registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligibility
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, including Saturday nights and Sunday nights. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
