Your Role

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. This includes:

  • Supervising the unloading of inbound shipments and ensuring accurate counting and verification of products
  • Coordinating the orderly stacking of products and maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Picking and staging outbound shipments with high levels of quality and productivity
  • Verifying required inbound and outbound paperwork with drivers to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment
  • Maintaining product locator systems and high levels of inventory accuracy
  • Rotating products as necessary to optimize space utilization
  • Assisting in maintaining the security of the warehouse and adhering to OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Completing all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Assuring the integrity of the inventory and assisting in conducting physical inventories

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment and 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
