Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Acadia Healthcare in Mississippi. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and making a positive impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and feedback to staff to ensure smooth direct resident care.
- Implement infection control measures and follow policies and procedures accurately.
- Report pertinent information and changes in residents' conditions to practitioners and directors.
- Provide resident and family education on current medications and participate in team conferences and staffings.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by practitioners and chart medication administration accurately.
- Order prescribed medications and review bowel movement records daily.
- Communicate with practitioners to report behaviors and obtain orders for special procedures.
- Document nursing care provided and maintain appropriate records related to resident progress and incidents.
Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure in Mississippi.
- Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to staff.
