Store Donation Attendant Job Description

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Donation Attendant. As a key member of our donation center team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our donors, ensuring a clean and organized donation area, and handling transactions with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, greeting them with a friendly demeanor and offering assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized donation area, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Handle donations with care, ensuring accurate receipting and tracking of all materials.
  • Sort, load, and unload SA trucks per Center policy, supporting the production process as needed.
  • Report any complaints, damage, or injuries occurring on or near the donation area.
Requirements:
  • Present a professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.
  • Be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
