Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, and communicate when reordering is necessary.
  • Prepare ingredients in advance of meal service to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow precise recipe instructions to create dishes that meet our quality standards.
  • Plate and garnish meals before they are served to customers.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas after meal service is completed.
  • Manage multiple culinary stations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to specifications during your shift.
  • Prepare, season, and finish all food items in accordance with established recipes.
  • Maintain refrigeration and dry storage areas, ensuring proper handling and rotation of products.
  • Ensure all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of your shift.
  • Adhere to all recipes, specifications, and control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist with guest inquiries and requests as needed.
  • Oversee one or more stations during service.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and styles is preferred.

  • Availability for a flexible work schedule.
  • Strong organizational abilities are essential.
  • ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain certification is required.
  • Capability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions, whether written or oral.
  • Physical requirements include occasional reaching, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending. Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required. Work may involve exposure to warm or cold environments and slippery surfaces.
