SVB Vice President I Technology Relationship Banking Consumer Internet Hybrid

This is a hybrid role that requires regular time spent working inside and outside of a company office.

Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of client relationships within the Consumer Internet sector.
- New business development and expansion of existing relationships, as well as originating, advising on, and negotiating financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients.
- Manage assigned client relationships, as well as providing support to Managing Director's client relationships where needed.
- Help ensure those clients receive a world-class relationship management experience.
- Developing an understanding of the client's needs and cross-selling SVB's suite of products and services at the appropriate points in the lifecycle of the business.
- Represent SVB and the Consumer Internet practice at events in market.
A minimum of 4 years of related experience or High School diploma or GED with a minimum 8 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly effective person with people and relationships.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and marketing skills.
- Good closing skills.
- Strong focus and ownership on the overall client experience.
- Ability to build and maintain a network of business relationships, including the executive management of clients, prospects, and other referral sources.
- Knowledge of bank operations and products a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
The base pay for this position is generally between $108,150 – $162,226 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
