Job Title: Regional Director of Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Operations to join our team at Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of hotels under various franchise brands and locations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high product quality standards, and maximizing revenue through effective cost control strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the oversight of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food and beverage, and human resources across all assigned hotels.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Department heads to assist with oversight, coordination, and direction of Regional Department Heads in your area to set and achieve portfolio goals.
  • Directly supervise General Managers in all assigned hotels, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees.
  • Evaluate the operational and financial results of assigned properties regularly and report these results to the VP of Hotel Operations.
  • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between property management teams and corporate team members and ownership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university or at least seven years of hospitality management experience.
  • Familiarity with analyzing profit and loss statements and other financial data.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines, and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service.
  • Computer knowledge, including intranet, Property Management Systems, WORD, and EXCEL.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
  • Willingness to travel.
