Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and precise answers to inquiries from international travelers regarding applications managed by DHS, including visa renewals and travel-related services.
- Engage with clients through live interactions, ensuring accurate responses using provided materials.
- Identify and address multiple inquiries in email communications, utilizing government-approved templates for responses.
- Accurately document information in the Customer Database, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and categorization of inquiries.
- Facilitate communication by transferring relevant information to the appropriate departments.
- Clarify policies and procedures while addressing customer questions and providing referrals.
- Offer general travel assistance and information on filing claims with DHS.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must meet all security eligibility criteria.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential (language proficiency will be evaluated during the interview).
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in navigating web-based applications; excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Selected candidates will undergo a background investigation to meet security requirements.
