Job Title: Community Director

Post University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Director to join our team. As a key member of our Campus Life department, you will play a vital role in shaping the university's community and student experience.

Job Summary:

The Community Director will be responsible for overseeing the management of residence halls, developing and implementing community programs, and fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment. This is a full-time, 12-month position that requires living on campus and participating in a professional staff on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and support Resident Assistants in their roles and responsibilities.
  2. Develop and implement community programs and events that promote student engagement and well-being.
  3. Collaborate with campus departments and student organizations to create a cohesive and supportive campus community.
  4. Monitor and report on the physical condition of residence halls and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Enforce university policies and procedures, and conduct investigations into behavioral issues.
  6. Participate in regular on-call rotations and serve as a resource for students.
  7. Assist with central office projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Campus Life.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Previous residence hall management experience and knowledge of community development and wellness concepts.
  • Supervisory experience and strong teamwork skills.
