Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage comprehensive accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax obligations.
  • Collaborate with the financial team and project managers to develop budget forecasts and conduct cost analyses.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, profit forecasts, and other relevant financial information.
  • Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax submissions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while uncovering opportunities for the organization.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting personnel.

  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to guarantee financial transparency and cost efficiency across all projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting capacity, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
