Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Bremerton, WA.

Role Highlights
  • Full-time position available, starting as soon as possible
  • 37.5 hours/week, with opportunities for growth and development
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of students to determine cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral levels of functioning through observation, standardized tests, interviews, and reports.
  2. Present findings and recommendations to a multidisciplinary team to assist in determining program placement and strategies.
  3. Identify special needs students, verify eligibility criteria, and make appropriate school placements in alignment with Washington Administrative Code and Public Law 94-142.
  4. Collaborate with parents, foster parents, or social workers regarding special needs students and communicate assessment results effectively.
  5. Provide direct individual or group counseling in line with IEP goals and objectives, as needed.
  6. Submit comprehensive written reports and MDT summaries in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Certification: Valid Washington School Psychologist certification
  • Experience: Prior experience in school settings preferred but not required
