School Psychologist Position in a Dynamic Educational Setting

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. The successful candidate will possess a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology and be licensed or certified as a School Psychologist.
About the JobThis is a full-time position with a caseload of K-12th grade students. As a School Psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, interpret assessment results, and provide insights to inform instructional planning and individualized education plans (IEPs). You will also collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for instructional planning, intervention strategies, and IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and IEP meetings, contributing expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- A valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
