About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced school psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a full time school psychologist, you will be responsible for working with students, teachers, and administrators to provide comprehensive support services.
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced school psychologist to work with students, teachers, and administrators to provide comprehensive support services.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
- Collaborate with educators to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
- Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
Requirements:
- A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology is required.
- A valid license or certification as a School Psychologist is necessary.
- You should be proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- You must have sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- A strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems is essential.
- You must commit to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively are crucial.
