Cedars-Sinai is seeking a dynamic and academically-oriented clinician educator to assist with oversight of resident physician education, hospital quality improvement initiatives, research collaborations, and/or other academic endeavors.
About the Division of General Internal Medicine
The Division of General Internal Medicine is a vibrant and collaborative group of faculty hospitalists and general internists whose primary mission is to teach internal medicine residents and students the care of general medical patients in the hospital and in the clinics through hands-on training and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Program Director to set an overall vision and approach to training resident physicians
- Oversee training activities, including curriculum development and implementation
- Assist with recruitment and selection of residents
- Promote scholarly activities, including research and publication
- Cultivate a training climate that values equity and inclusivity for all
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
- Passionate about and experienced in medical education, collaborative, and team-oriented
- Humanism, integrity, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and initiative are highly valued
- Training in pedagogy, a demonstrated interest in medical education scholarship, and/or service as an Internal Medicine Chief Resident would be major assets
- All career stages are welcome to apply
- We welcome candidates who are trained in Medicine-Pediatrics and interested in practicing in both settings
