This role is situated within a state office dedicated to Rural Development. The primary objective of this position is to assist in the effective implementation of grant initiatives within the state.
Important Note:
This position requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
Eligibility:
This opportunity is available to federal employees classified as "surplus" or "displaced" under the Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP, ICTAP, RPL).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive guidance to applicants and stakeholders regarding program procedures, policies, and application requirements.
- Assist in the review and analysis of grant proposals submitted.
- Identify and develop training opportunities to enhance program engagement.
- Prepare, review, and analyze management reports to ensure compliance with program regulations.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after December 31, 1959 must be registered with Selective Service or exempt.
- Subject to a satisfactory background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of a one-year probationary period may be required.
Direct Deposit Requirement:

Qualifications:
Applicants must fulfill all qualifications and eligibility criteria by the closing date of the announcement, including specialized experience and/or education as outlined below.
For GS-9 Level:
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-07, or a relevant master's degree, or a combination of education and specialized experience.
For GS-11 Level:
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-09, or a relevant doctoral degree, or a combination of education and specialized experience.
Additional Information:
Applicants must provide documentation of all qualifying experience, including volunteer work. A transcript must be submitted if education is used to qualify.
