Evening Housekeeping Staff

Department: Environmental Services

Shift: Second Shift - 3 pm to 11:30 pm

Positions Available: Full-time and Part-time

Incentive: $300 Hiring Bonus - inquire during the interview

Compensation: Starting pay at $11.00 per hour

JOB OVERVIEW:

This role involves a commitment of 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule that includes rotating days off. Weekend shifts are required, and overtime may be necessary based on facility needs.

The Evening Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in designated areas of the facility to ensure a hygienic environment and minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections. This is achieved through standard cleaning practices and the use of appropriate cleaning agents in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to established policies and procedures.

All team members are expected to uphold respect and consideration for the dignity of patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, fostering a professional and courteous atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must be proficient in English communication.

Successful completion of a thorough criminal background check and drug screening is mandatory.

All required healthcare screenings and immunizations must be completed or accepted.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must adhere to universal precautions and be prepared for physical demands, including prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, and lifting. The role requires the ability to lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 20 lbs, with assistance available for heavier items.
