The Role

We are seeking an experienced K12 Senior Account Executive to sell Robolink's full product offerings, focusing solely on educational products and servicing today's classrooms. In this role, you will target key education decision-makers to provide solutions that accelerate student success towards district initiatives. Territory management will focus on identifying new business opportunities and providing training while developing existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Target new/existing customer bases to drive new product sales, aligned with marketing and regional sales strategies.
  • Cultivate new relationships, educate prospects, and ultimately drive new sales to exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop positive relationships and handle customers' needs.
  • Conduct webinars, sales presentations, and perform calls and emails necessary to develop a strong relationship with prospects.
  • Follow the sales cycle from inception to close and implementation.
  • Create an ongoing plan for prioritization of customer calls, emails, and scheduled appointments to drive sales pipeline advancement, accurate forecasting, and quota achievement.
  • Effectively maintain and grow knowledge of accounts, Robolink offerings, and key trends in education to develop credibility amongst customers and internal colleagues.
  • Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in K12 technology/educational sales or 5+ years in education with demonstrated capabilities to transition into an education sales role.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Google office suite.
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, with experience presenting to customers.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Requires some travel, 20-25%.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Compensation

Starting base salary is $70,000/year. With commission incentives, on-target earnings are expected to be $140,000/year.
