Job Overview
NTN is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the Industrial Aftermarket Sales Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and grow business relationships with key customers.
About the Role
The Key Account Manager will report to the VP of Industrial Aftermarket Sales and be responsible for managing customer-facing relationships with key target accounts. This includes leveraging NTN's product offering, programs, and established market presence to generate new business at these accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer-facing relationships with key target accounts, working from guidance and program structures created by the internal team.
- Leverage NTN's product offering, programs, and established market presence to generate new business at the target accounts.
- Conduct regular customer business reviews (QBRs) to maintain relationships, focus on business development, and follow up on action items.
- Report QBR and other significant customer activity to the VP of Industrial Aftermarket Sales and the President of NBCA.
- Spend an equal amount of time in our corporate office working with various NBCA departments to ensure projects and opportunities are completed from the NTN side.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4-year technical undergraduate degree. An engineering degree is a plus.
- Competent knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment and industries.
- 5-7 years of experience in industrial sales.
- Possess market knowledge as it pertains to the bearing or PT industry.
- Comfortable calling on distributors and end-users to value-sell products and services.
- Capable of calling on multiple levels of an organization from staff level to executives.
- Ability to contribute to the team immediately, be a self-starter, and can learn quickly.
- Ability to travel multiple nights per month and have excellent time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
