Job Summary

As a key member of the Fuji Foods USA team, the Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for overseeing new installations and construction projects, as well as maintaining the company's grounds, facilities, and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate with external contractors to install and repair equipment, electrical, pneumatic, air, water, and sewer systems.
  • Expedite installations and repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Source and procure high-quality goods and services from reputable vendors.
  • Train production staff on the operation and maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for facilities and equipment.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure optimal levels.
  • Supervise production staff as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous manufacturing experience and food processing experience preferred.
  • Two years of maintenance experience required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
