Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Client Project Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing daily communications and ensuring seamless coordination of various tasks such as:
  • Providing time, labor, and material quotes.
  • Issuing preliminary invoices and progress updates.
  • Facilitating customer approvals and debriefs on work packages.
  • Resolving issues related to warranty and project squawks.

In this role, you will also:
  • Perform project management duties across multiple aircraft, identifying potential risks and managing constraints.
  • Review and deliver Pro Forma invoices to customers, ensuring all pricing codes and work orders are accurate.
  • Oversee workflow to maintain schedules and budgets, enhancing shop floor efficiency.
  • Conduct status meetings with various departments, updating daily reports on aircraft status.
  • Coordinate special programs with planning and materials teams.
  • Review and approve final customer invoices, including margin analysis and warranty negotiations.
  • Engage in post-project activities, ensuring customer satisfaction after service completion.
  • Meet or exceed financial objectives for all projects, managing payment terms and invoicing.
  • Build and maintain essential relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance.

Qualifications for Success

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer project management or supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of regulatory governance such as FAA, EASA, or Transport Canada.
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance inspection programs and safety regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with customers and team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills to navigate crisis situations effectively.
  • Planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to project management and maintenance operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional desired qualifications include:
  • A four-year college degree.
  • Airframe & Powerplant license or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Familiarity with SAP and maintenance transaction systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO/OHSAS management systems.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles to interpret financial reports.
