Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and passionate Produce Sales Consultant to enhance our dynamic sales team. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, identifying trends, executing product demonstrations for clients and staff, and collecting valuable feedback. This role may also involve organizing training sessions and supporting new product introductions.

To excel in this position, a strong enthusiasm for produce and a commitment to ongoing learning in this area are essential. Exceptional consultants should possess a sharp eye for market trends, the ability to inspire clients, and the capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, including desktop analysis and outreach.
  • Respond to product inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  • Participate in meetings, food shows, and visits to local farms.
  • Assist in planning and executing new product launches and events.
  • Demonstrate products to customers, staff, and executives.
  • Support the creation of business strategies.
  • Take on significant responsibilities in client engagement and produce promotion.
  • Coordinate training sessions and attend necessary meetings.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Provide insightful product recommendations to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in retail, sales, and business-to-business environments.
  • Strong ability to retain product details and specifications.
