Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Beazer Homes. As a key member of our customer care team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our homeowners receive exceptional service and support throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with Homeowners: Conduct meetings with homeowners to identify areas of concern and coordinate repair schedules.
  • Verify Repair Workmanship: Inspect repair work completed by subcontractors to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Communicate with Field and Office Staff: Communicate repair schedules and updates to field and office staff, and refer repair requests for unwarranted items to management.
  • Coordinate with Subcontractors: Communicate with subcontractors regarding work orders and schedules, and use diplomacy in dealing with subcontractors.
  • Authorize Billing Requests: Review and authorize billing requests after verifying submitted charges for accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three years of customer service experience and three to five years of construction experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Detail-Oriented: Possess strong organizational, management, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in computer software and have thorough knowledge of construction methods and company and government standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: May visit construction sites where temperature, weather, and noise may vary.
  • Physical Demands: May encounter electrical, dust, poor ventilation, dangerous machinery, moving objects, and toxic conditions.
