Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workforce Development Specialist to join our team at the Hartford Job Corps Center. In this role, you will work closely with students to develop career transition plans and provide guidance on job search methodologies, resume building, and interviewing techniques. If you are passionate about helping others achieve their goals, we encourage you to apply.

About the Position
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of labor market trends and be able to provide students with relevant information to aid in their career choices. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive support system for our students. Additionally, you will conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective career transition plans for students nearing program completion
* Provide students with essential resources and tools to aid in their job search
* Collaborate with trade, academic, counseling, and career transition teams to ensure seamless support
* Conduct mock interviews and evaluations to assess progress
* Regularly audit and assess program effectiveness and compliance

Requirements
* Associate's degree with two years of related experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
* Salary: $40,000 annually
